Masters Swimming Australia (MSA) is proud to announce that MSQ Masters Swimming Queensland will be hosting the 2026 MSA National Championships at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre from Tuesday 28 April to Saturday 2 May 2026.
Planning is already underway for what promises to be a fantastic week of competition and fun.
Please note for your plans: MSQ is aiming to establish an accommodation and social hub at South Bank, making it convenient for swimmers to enjoy both the pool and the best of Brisbane’s vibrant city lifestyle.
This isn’t just any championship – it’s the 50th edition of our Nationals, and we’re planning something truly special. MSQ is known for embracing innovation and joining with Masters Swimming Australia (MSA) we’re excited to bring fresh ideas to the pool deck to celebrate this milestone in style.
The official event program has just been released – reminder, its Short Course – time to start planning your swims and Brisbane / Queensland adventure!

- Brisbane Aquatic Centre 28 April – 2 May 2026
- Short Course with AOE
- Maximum of 13 individual events per swimmer
- Limit of two 400m events per swimmer
- Limit of four individual events per swimmer per day
We are also exploring the exciting possibility of holding an Open Water Swim event on Sunday 3 May 2026, rounding off the week with a stunning outdoor swim experience…we’ll update you asap!
